DR. RUSTY LIEBERMAN, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Lieberman grew up in a medical family in New York City prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. All of his cousins, uncle (retired radiologist), and even brother (retired ophthalmologist) are all D.O.’s (Osteopathic Physicians). The triune within chiropractic of: the Art, Science and the Philosophy of natural healing resounded most with him.

Dr. Lieberman went to Hunter College in Manhattan, N.Y., where he received his undergraduate degree. At that time he was a member and team captain of the swim team and set several individual & team relay records in freestyle. He was the Scholar-Athlete of his college in 1972 and was even nominated in 1973 by Hunter College to the “Outstanding College Athletes of America”, Wash., D.C.  Recently he has been nominated by Dr. Raymond Welsh to Hunter College’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

Dr. Lieberman completed a master’s degree in Health Sciences from Brooklyn College in 1974 before joining the United States Navy to become a naval aviator.

After completing his service obligation he left New York City on a trek to San Diego, Ca. whereupon he stopped in Kansas City and met the woman who was to become his wife. Dr. Lieberman worked in corporate for twelve years before entering Cleveland Chiropractic College to complete his Doctorate in Chiropractic and later on certificate in Acupuncture.

His area of specialization is in clinical nutrition and lecture on various topics including ‘reversing coronary heart disease’, ‘anti-aging’, ‘weight management’, and ‘avoiding diabetes’.

He is happily married and has one daughter. He love animals, enjoys music, playing guitar, traveling especially to Las Vegas (where he was married), swimming, exercising, going out to restaurants, shows, and sporting events (March Madness, Royals, Chiefs, and Sporting KC).

Dr. Lieberman is excited to offer his experience and expertise to the community of people and veterans in Belton, Raymore and surrounding areas.
