SPINAL STENOSIS
Spinal stenosis is the narrowing of the spinal canal, causing potential compression of the spinal cord and surrounding structures. Stenosis may be central or lateral and is usually caused by bone or soft tissue encroachment such as a disc bulge. As a result, signs and symptoms may vary.
Symptoms often present with an inconsistent pattern of leg and back pain, which is often made worse by activity that involves standing and relieved with rest or forward bending. More specifically, the symptoms may consist of pain, numbness, and loss of full muscle strength in one of both sides.
Treatment options include:
- Chiropractic Adjustments
- Disc Decompression Therapy
- Rehabilitative Exercises
- Acupuncture
- Electro Therapy
- Cold Laser Therapy
