We will be demonstrating an exercise known as the Posture Trapezius Stretch. The trapezius muscles are found behind your neck, along your shoulders and upper back.
Step One: To stretch out your upper traps, begin with turning your head to the left side at a 45-degree angle.
Step Two: Look down as if you were to look in your pocket and place your right arm behind your back. (If you need to lengthen the stretch you can place your left hand on top of your head and apply gentle pressure).
Hold your stretch for five to six seconds. Repeat on the other side beginning with turning your head to the right and looking down into your pocket and so on. Repeat this stretch as needed.
