Dr. Lehi Swan was born and raised in Manhattan, Kansas. Dr. Swan’s first experience with chiropractic came as a result of a sports injury in high school. After just one adjustment, he was able to move his neck and arm again pain free! Amazed at the power of Chiropractic and the body’s ability to heal itself naturally, a seed was planted in Dr. Swan and he knew one day he’d have the opportunity to share Chiropractic with others.
Dr. Lehi Swan graduated from Kansas State University in 2003 earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then continued his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. Dr. Swan received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2007 from CCCKC. Dr. Swan found his true passion once in clinic excelling in clinical diagnosis and treatment and received the prestigious Clinical Service Award while at CCCKC.
Dr. Swan also had the opportunity to join rotations at the VA Medical Center and Truman Medical Center-Lakewood working in multi-disciplinary clinics. While on rotations, he observed that patients benefitted greatly from a collaborative team approach to their treatment plans.
Dr. Lehi Swan has 17 years of clinical experience with a diverse background which includes working in private chiropractic practice, directing a multi-disciplinary medical clinic, collaborating with integrative medical providers and more recently becoming certified in functional medicine and nutritional consulting.
Dr. Swan is proficient in many different chiropractic techniques; from hands-on methods like Diversified technique to more gentle approaches like Activator instrument-assisted adjusting and Sacro-occipital technique. He is also certified in IASTM, Kinesiotaping & Dry-Needling. Dr. Swan emphasizes the importance of stabilization exercises to keep the body balanced and has additional training in effectively managing and treating extremity injuries and conditions.
Dr. Swan is passionate about living a natural, holistic way of life and is very excited to share this approach with the entire Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic & Acupuncture wellness community.
He has joined ASFCA with the mission to help everyone understand that Chiropractic is the only way to restore proper neurological functioning to all the muscles, organs and tissues of the body. When not treating patients, Dr. Swan loves spending time with his wife, daughter, son and their 2 labrador retrievers. He also enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, and cheering on our local sports teams.
